This is an easy dish that any home kitchen can make because there are few ingredients And it's a dish that Thai kids born in the 90s think of when they think of family food.


​Crispy Egg Garlic Chicken with Rice

300 g chicken

1 tbsp coconut oil

1 - 1/2 tsp fish sauce

1/2 tbsp soy sauce

1/2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp garlic

1 tbsp chives

1 teaspoon pepper

Coriander powder 1 teaspoon

Coriander 30 g

1 chicken egg or duck egg

Marinated Chicken

Put the chicken in a mixing bowl, add 1/2 tbsp of garlic, soy sauce, coriander powder, and pepper. Mix the ingredients together. Marinate the chicken in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.


Chicken stir fry

Heat the coconut oil, Add garlic and cook a garlic over low heat until there is a smell at the tip of the nose, add Marinated Chicken ,stir fry by medium heat. we can add a little water if that is a too much dry. When the chicken is about 80% cooked, season with fish sauce, sugar and stir all over. When the chicken is dry as we like, scoop up from a hot pan.

Heat oil for frying (I use coconut oil as it is a healthy oil and has very little trans fat and we only use it once). Crack an egg in a pan over medium heat until golden and crispy.


Put rice on a plate and Put the garlic chicken on the side of the plate,
